I feel I should reiterate: Momo has a new lunch bag now. I’m spendthrift, not a monster. Also, it gave me an excuse to buy a ton of little bento accessories and snap-together tins and a tiny thermos; my weakness is clearly going to be back-to-school shopping.

Gosh, I was such a little turd about my Opinions on Parenting before I had kids. My apologies, parents who knew me in the Before Times. I knew not what I said.
