While we were away, Momo outgrew her folding crib. We ended up having to put her on a pallet on the floor for most of the trip, which is how we learned she knows how to open doors and has opinions on when it’s time to sleep and to wake up. Particular opinions. Nothing wakes you up faster than someone smacking your face. Clever girl.

Now that we’re home and she’s in her crib again, I expect this specific situation won’t happen for a few months yet… but I can feel it… the blissful days of her playing in her crib are coming to an end.

(“Hey, Lindsay, velociraptors have feathers!” yeah well don’t you recognize a Momoraptor??)
