#488: PSA: It’s July Now
Area Mother Stays Indoors for Four Months, Completely Forgets that Seasons Are A Thing
I can’t really blame COVID for this one; I’m terrible every time summer comes around and I seem to have somehow convinced myself that, this year, I will have somehow transcended the weaknesses of my lily-white complexion and can withstand the sun. I am, every year, punished for my hubris.
But! It sure was good to sit out in the sun and gab at a responsible distance with some other parents. I didn’t know how much I’d missed those little snatches of socializing before and after school. Just, my brain still thinks it’s April, and not July…
