I’m fully aware that some things about being a mom never completely go away: the physical changes, the constant urge to rock whatever you’re holding, etc…

I did not expect that I would automatically ping my Mom Sonar when I see a random child do something dangerous, like putting crusty salty sidewalk ice in their mouth.
