#632: Grandpa Jokes
You know what we didn’t need? A very serious comic about overcoming adversity for our children’s’ sake, which is what I had in the hopper for approximately three days before I realized I couldn’t think for another single minute about digging into the seemingly bottomless well of strength I share in kinship with all mothers from the beginning of time. Which I do. But godalmighty, we simply cannot.
So now there’s a comic about a funny thing Momo said the other day. I generally try to keep these limited – which is hard, because she is very funny – because the scales between slice-of-life and gag-a-day are very delicate, and if one strays TOO far, one becomes Relatable Content for content scrapers to repost, uncredited, for eternity. Not a fate worse than death but: not really the vibe!!
However, one of said scrapers recently brought a bunch of new eyes to this comic, so… if you’re new here, welcome! Thank you! When you’re done here, don’t forget to check out my other comic, Motherlover – it’s being published this May, in real book form!!
