#633: Early Spring
…and then after only a few days of enthusiastic nesting energy, the weather promptly changed to ‘atmospheric river’ and flooded out the entire weekend. Spring in the Pacific Northwest!!
After, honestly, a really terrible start to the year, I’ve been clinging desperately to the signs of spring. Yes, it’s simply modern augury, but those are my emotional support robins and my therapeutic first green buds on the trees. I have to believe that things are getting better, you know? And it’s easier, right now, to hope that it’ll come the same way spring breaks across the land: so slow at first, and then all of a sudden, unstoppable, in full resplendent health.

TRANSCRIPT
(Mostly textless; over a few panels, Lindsay groans out of bed and throws the curtains open. There is a battery symbol on Lindsay’s back. Then there are four panels of Lindsay and Momo doing chores and self-care before school starts, and a large panel of them walking to school with Lindsay exclaiming SOLAR POWERED!!)
