SOMEHOW, I had forgotten about the whole ‘Cubone’s mom was murdered by Team Rocket, and her vengeful ghost haunts the Pokemon cemetery where Cubone still wanders around crying out for her.’

I was heroically underlevelled for Celadon City gym because I, uh, refused to do the storyline about the dead mom and the sad baby Pokemon. Eventually I had to do it to move the story forward, but I wasn’t happy about it. 😐
