At this rate, it looks like Momo won’t be going back to school for the rest of the year, unless a lot of people get vaccinated by the end of spring break. She’s adjusted pretty well to this new normal, honestly, but she’s always been easy-going like that – right after she said this, she made sure to assure me that she meant she has no friends in Minecraft, but the psychic damage had already been dealt to me. I just worry that when she goes back, she’ll have to relearn how to be a friend all over again, like in kindergarten – we already moved schools between K and 1, and then to have another big social shift the next year… blegh. Blegh.
