#540: Natural Resistance
on August 16, 2021
It’s not summer without a strip complaining about being sunburned, but this time with the distinct pong of envy that Momo can get one squirt of sunscreen in the morning and be fine, and I get sunburned walking to the bus. It’s especially stark this year, as she’d mostly faded to my skin tone after keeping close to home for over a year, and then sprang RIGHT back to this absolutely gorgeous, even tan.
I mean, I’m sooooo glad she doesn’t burn like me – or get miserably itchy from mosquito bites like me, which is a related but different strip – but it does make for a completely wild gradient of skincare in our family.
