Throwback day! Gosh, I haven’t drawn that hairstyle in a while.

One of the great frustrations of being home with a small, yelling person is that it’s hard to explain how the day-in, day-out audio landscape is so draining. And it’s wild, how they always seem to be quiet, sleepy, perfect angels when they’re being entertained by new faces (and not YOUR boring old mug, mom), and then the second you’re alone with them: it’s Scream Time ™

And then people tell you your baby is just so calm and lovely! And you’re like: thank you! they’re really not, but thanks anyway!!
